The CCA believes that the commercial arbitration sector is best served when the ranks of arbitrators and counsel reflect the breadth of diversity of the persons and entities that choose to resolve their disputes by means of arbitration.
The CCA is accordingly committed to equal opportunity within the commercial arbitrator sector and our own membership, regardless of race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, sexual orientation or gender identity, religion, disability, or age.
Ensuring equal opportunity requires candid self-reflection, building and preserving a culture of inclusiveness, and taking steps to identify and remove structural and historical impediments to equal treatment and inclusiveness.
The CCA has established a Recruitment Committee to identify arbitrators who meet our high standards, including candidates from demographic cohorts historically underrepresented in the CCA. For more information regarding recruitment, or to suggest a potential candidate for consideration as a CCA Fellow, please email the CCA at info@ccarbitrators.org. To further advance its commitment to diversity and inclusiveness, the CCA manages an Associates Program to mentor those in the early stages of their arbitration careers, including from historically underrepresented demographic cohorts.
