Hon. Faith Hochberg is a former federal judge who specializes in arbitrating and mediating US and international litigation in all complex fields. Representative matters include: Antitrust; Insurance; Patent, Copyright, Trademark; Securities; Banking & Financial Transactions; Commercial Contract; Licensing; Trade Secrets. Judge Hochberg is also a Court-appointed Special Master in MDL (multi-district litigation) and Intellectual Property cases, and she serves as a Court-appointed Monitor in an international cyber security case. She has served as an Arbitrator and Mediator in over 100 matters during her years since retiring from the bench.

Experience

Arbitrator [Panel Chair, Sole Arbitrator and Wing Arbitrator] in international and US cases under the rules of AAA, ICDR, JAMS, ICC, CPR, SIAC, WIPO and FedArb, in addition to presiding over hundreds of federal court cases while a United States District Judge. Judge Hochberg is also an active Mediator of complex cases. JNJ; and Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Treasury.

Work History

Prior to ascending to the bench, Judge Hochberg was the United States Attorney for the District of New Jersey. She also previously served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Treasury in Washington, DC., where she was responsible for oversight of the Bank Secrecy Office; the Office of Foreign Assets Control [OFAC] and the law enforcement divisions of the US Treasury Department..
