Please join us on September 16th for another robust discussion. We’ll hear each other’s techniques for estimating hours at the beginning of a case, and differing approaches to the perennially vexing topic of third-party “deposition” subpoenas: do you adopt the work-around permitted by the Second Circuit in Life Receivables, 549 F.3d 210? If so, on a three-arbitrator panel must the full panel attend? Do you express skepticism about enforcement of the subpoena? Or decline to sign?
We’ve also invited the CCA’s Strategic Steering Committee members to “cross-pollinate” ideas for the CCA going forward.
