Richard Mattiaccio practices as an independent arbitrator and mediator and has 30+ years arbitrator experience in international and US domestic commercial, IP and employment cases. He is a Chartered Arbitrator, and an adjunct professor at Fordham Law School where he teaches international commercial arbitration. He is active in bar association committees related to arbitration. He has served as Chair of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) NY Branch (2018-20) and as Chair of the International Commercial Disputes Committee (ICDC) of the NY City Bar Association (2016-19). He has served on committees and on rules revision working groups of the CPR Institute. He was a founding director of the New York International Arbitration Center (NYIAC) and served on NYIAC’s executive committee from 2013 - 2018, including as Vice-Chair in 2017 - 2018.
