Gerald Wald

Gerald Wald is an experienced litigator whose work is now substantially devoted to the arbitration and mediation of a wide variety of business, insurance, securities, health care, real property and professional liability matters in domestic and international cases.

Experience

Mr. Wald practiced as a high profile litigator for forty years. In addition to litigating hundreds of commercial cases, he has been appointed to serve as a federal equity receiver in twenty-five FTC and CFTC enforcement actions. He also has been appointed to serve as a special master, monitor and auditor in numerous federal and state court cases. Mr. Wald has extensive experience as an arbitrator (sole arbitrator, panelist, chairperson) in over 150 cases and has mediated over 500 cases. Mr. Wald has served as an arbitrator in cases administered by the AAA, ICDR, ICC and AHLA and is familiar with the rules of these organizations.
