Peter Rosen

Peter Rosen is an arbitrator and mediator at JAMS with a prestigious career resolving high-profile insurance matters and a wide variety of domestic and international commercial disputes.

Experience

Throughout the course of his forty-year career as an advocate and since affiliating with JAMS, Mr. Rosen has driven hundreds of matters to a mediated resolution and has resolved numerous high-stakes domestic and international arbitrations. As both a lawyer and a neutral, Mr. Rosen has specialized in resolving complex insurance-related disputes involving directors’ and officers\" liability, general liability, property, cyber, employment, professional liability, construction, fidelity, environmental and representations and warranties insurance policies, as well reinsurance disputes. Mr. Rosen has deep expertise in handling coverage issues arising out of mass disasters. His role in the World Trade Center insurance coverage litigation gained him worldwide recognition. He received accolades from The Legal 500 and Chambers USA, which noted, “He is recognized for his ‘wealth of expertise.’” In addition to his Fellowship with the College of Commercial Arbitrators, Mr. Rosen is a Fellow with Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb); an Accredited Mediator with Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR); a Certified Arbitrator with ARIAS; and a Certified Mediator, CPR.
